Expertise: Alice laughed: "There's no use trying," she said; "one can't believe impossible things." "I daresay you haven't had much practice," said the Queen. "When I was younger, I always did it for half an hour a day. Why, sometimes I've believed as many as six impossible things before breakfast." -- Lewis Carroll - - - - - - - - -
"If I find in myself a desire which no experience in this world can satisfy, the most probable explanation is that I was made for another world." -- C.S. Lewis - - - - - - "Be!
Be, butterfly and behemoth,
be galaxy and grasshopper,
star and sparrow,
you matter,
you are,
be!
Be caterpillar and comet,
Be porcupine and planet,
sea sand and solar system,
sing with us,
dance with us,
rejoice with us,
for the glory of creation,
seagulls and seraphim
angle worms and angel host,
chrysanthemum and cherubim.
Be!
Sing for the glory
of the living and the loving
the flaming of Creation
sing with us
dance with us
be with us.
Be!” -- Madeleine L'Engle

| Check out the last few minutes of this video on the Nike Human Race: http://inside.nike.com/blogs/nikewomen/2008/09/12/the-nike-human-race-10k-nyc
They interviewed two of my friends and you can see me for a half second because I'm sitting next to them. Or just check out the photo slide show on the bottom of the page.

| Crazy times on Wall Street. | | |
| Highlights of my past two weeks in NYC: - Ate way too much during all-you-can-eat-sushi-and-drinks at New Ashiya
- Went on a 30 mile bike ride to Scarsdale, NY and back with the 5 Borough Bicycle Club
- Had my first taste of Red Mango...the BEST frozen yogurt ever!
- Caught the last weekend of the Dali exhibit at MoMA (free on Fridays from 4 to 8!)
- Running in the Komen New York City Race for the Cure this Sunday in Central Park (That's tomorrow! If you want to support me in the race, you can click here to make a donation!)
So I am staying busy for now, but I'm looking forward to rest and relaxation (hopefully!) when I'm back home in about two and a half weeks! | | |
